Boardgame Spotlight!

Welcome to a Toby Stock Spotlight!

Its been such a busy time, I've barely had time to keep up with what I've been ordering! So I thought I'd shoutout some cool stuff that's come through the doors this in the last little while.

First up is the new standalone Everdell game; Silverfrost. Bringing a snowy theme to the city builder you all know and love, Silverfrost is sure to add some depth and complexity to the copy of Everdell you've played 1 million times.

Timber Town was a game I got to see at Open House and it looks great! You draft rows of tiles as they float down the river and use them to build out your city. Similar game themes to Everdell but with a focus on tile placement if that is your thing!

Next up is Dropolter: a tactical game about tactically dropping tactile objects. The aim of the game? Drop some things, but not other things. Win a round? Get a bell. Don't drop it though! 5 bells wins. Clean, silly and fun.

Last up is on my to-play list, its Bomb Busters! It's co-op, its about defusing bombs and it won a Spiel De Jahres. What else could you want?
